Reliable Freshwater from Seawater and Brackish Sources
Water desalination using Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a proven,
efficient solution for producing clean, potable water from saline sources such as seawater or
brackish groundwater.

At HDCOP for Engineering, we specialize in the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of
complete RO desalination systems for municipalities, industries, and private facilities.
Our plants are engineered for high performance, energy efficiency, and long-term
durability—ensuring consistent water production even under challenging operating conditions.
• Typical RO Desalination Process Includes:
1. Intake System
- Draws seawater or brackish water from wells, open intakes, or surface sources.
2. Pre-Treatment
- Filtration Units: Multimedia or cartridge filters remove suspended solids.
- Chemical Dosing: Prevents scaling, fouling, and biological growth.
3.High-Pressure Pumping
- Increases pressure to push water through the RO membranes (typically 55–70 bar for
seawater).
4. RO Membrane System
- Semi-permeable membranes separate salts, minerals, and contaminants from clean water.
5. Post-Treatment
- pH Adjustment & Remineralization: Improves water stability and taste.
- Disinfection: Ensures the water is safe for human use.
6. Brine Disposal
- Safe discharge or reuse of concentrated reject water, designed per
environmental standards.
