• Typical RO Desalination Process Includes:

1. Intake System
  • Draws seawater or brackish water from wells, open intakes, or surface sources.
2. Pre-Treatment
  • Filtration Units: Multimedia or cartridge filters remove suspended solids.
  • Chemical Dosing: Prevents scaling, fouling, and biological growth.
  • 3.High-Pressure Pumping
    • Increases pressure to push water through the RO membranes (typically 55–70 bar for seawater).
    4. RO Membrane System
